What skills and experience we are looking for

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, caring, and committed Teaching Assistant to work within our KS1 unit. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

·         Patience and Proactivity: A patient individual with the ability to think on their feet and provide solutions that support the child's learning experience.

·         Kind and Caring Nature: A compassionate approach is essential, as well as a willingness to collaborate and contribute positively as part of a team.

·         Energetic and Motivated: We are looking for someone who brings energy and motivation into the classroom, creating an engaging and dynamic learning environment.

·         Understanding Needs: A solid knowledge and understanding of the various needs of the child, ensuring that they receive tailored support. Knowledge and/or experience of working with a child with ASD would be beneficial. 

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable.

We would also consider splitting this role into two part-time positions for the right candidates (Morning/Afternoon split)
